YinYu is an engaging and educational mathematical game designed for children aged 9 and above. It effectively combines play with learning, specifically targeting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) curricula for middle and high school students.

The YinYu app is centered around the PEMDAS (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, Addition and Subtraction) rule, which is essential for evaluating polynomial expressions. This game not only reinforces the understanding of PEMDAS but also enhances players' abilities to construct and evaluate algebraic expressions, relevant in both mathematics and software applications.

One notable feature of YinYu is the Worldwide Leader Board, which allows players to track their scores and compete for the top rank globally.

The game comprises three main phases, each with 17 levels:

1. Step 1 - Levels 1–17 (Start Levels): Players are presented with a random selection of numbers from 1 to 20. The challenge involves solving for a specific answer using three operands and two operators. Progression through levels occurs with each correctly solved question, allowing players to accumulate scores for the Leader Board.
2. Step 2 - Levels 18–34 (Harder Levels): In this stage, the game introduces a more complex challenge by randomly selecting numbers from 1 to 100. Players must now solve for answers using four operands and three different operators. Here, base score points are doubled.
3. Step 3 - Levels 35 and Up (Hardest Levels): This final phase presents a significant challenge with numbers again selected from 1 to 100. Players must utilize five operands and four operators to reach the correct answer. Base score points are tripled in this level.

Points are earned based on the remaining time in the timer; if a player solves the puzzle after time expires, they still earn base points.

The Leader Board operates globally and is stored in the Apple Cloud using Apple App Cloud Services, ensuring an accessible platform for all users to showcase their achievements.
